My stay at San Domenico Palace was absolutely delightful, featuring stunning gardens and a historic ambiance. The staff really went above and beyond to enhance our experience, and the breakfast spread was simply fantastic, catering to all tastes. However, the dining at the hotel was a bit pricey, which might make it less ideal for budget travelers. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Taormina.

Our stay at the San Domenico Palace Hotel was a blend of stunning views and unique historical charm but marred by some shortcomings in service and room conditions. The location was fantastic, offering beautiful gardens and views of Mount Etna. However, the room we received did not meet our expectations with poor air conditioning and a lack of a desirable view. The dining options were excellent, particularly breakfast, but some services were not as attentive as one would hope for a five-star establishment.

Also, the wasp problem during breakfast was quite off-putting and led us to dine elsewhere.
